"Je suis à l'envers" is French for "I am upside down" and depicts a portrait of Ilunga holding the small figure that is deep within herself. The surreal visual is unsettling yet implies that it is actually possible to reach into oneself and grab some element, aspect or thing from within. This is acknowledging the deepest parts of ourselves. A visual representation of shadow work.
