"Ndaya as an Angel" is a self portrait of Ilunga as an Angel. Ilunga's face is split into two separate heads that share an eye. There is a halo around both heads. Ilunga personifies duality and embodies an angel conflicted by its free will and power, whilst being devoted to a God or purpose. Even if we are an Angel in one regard we could be the opposite in another. Perhaps that is what makes us human.
