"Ndaya as infinity" depicts Ilunga, bald headed and in lacey underwear, surrounded by multiple Ilunga alter-ego's, in Flora and Fauna form as well as in various "black bodies - white abyss" poses. This was an attempt to visually represent sacred geometry in all beings. A way of revealing that earth bound vessels are made up of the same cosmic materials and atoms that allow for us to experience the world, unifying our consciousness, or our perspective. This piece ties together Ilunga's experience as a multifaceted young black women making sense of the world around her. This piece represents a rebirth, a recalibrating and a profound deep acceptance. "Ndaya as Infinity" is her visualization of wanting to deal with her trauma, becoming familiar with humility and embody art as a deep part of her psyche. This is an artist finally claiming that they deserve the title of an artist because they have reached a personal goal.
