The Mystical Congolese Jungle

"The Mystical Congolese Landscape" is my own rendition of a Congolese scene, featuring a swan posed above the water to highlight the duality of consequences embedded in African Diaspora culture. This imagery aims to offer a new perspective on the traumatic past of the Congolese people.

African masks incorporated, create an abstract and mysterious environment. The subtle shifts in each wooden panel contribute to the overall chaotic yet beautiful composition, reflecting the complex cultural heritage and the profound impact of history on identity, on contemporary young Africans.
